Fast forward a couple of years, and here we are – proud owners of Halswell Fresh Fruit & Vege on Sparks Road, right in the heart of the Halswell community.

Having been in the industry all my life, I always dreamed of owning a little local greengrocer that prides itself on the freshest fruit and veg, along with genuine, superior customer service. We believe in the importance of connection – when you visit us, you’re not just another person in a supermarket queue, you’re part of our family, and you matter.

Our little team of “vegeologists” are true customer service superstars.

We love our NZ stonefruit season, especially when it’s from Central Otago. Having worked closely with stonefruit growers, we’re full of helpful, practical knowledge. If you’re a jam maker, tart creator, or love to preserve, look no further.

We also can’t get enough of NZ’s tomato season! Our produce is perfect for soups, sauces, and chutneys when the season hits its stride.
